Aims
NEPCO is an organisation established by people with experience in social activities. The organisation fulfils a demand that appeared with an inflow of Poles into the North East of England, especially after 2004.
Through NEPCO, we would like to: integrate the Polish community abroad living and working in the North East, to bring Polish culture and tradition closer to the local community, and to establish an intercultural dialogue based on mutual respect and understanding. In addition, we want to dissipate any legal or fiscal doubts.
How do we want to achieve this? Through shared games and entertainment; meetings, events, excursions, film presentations, concerts, exhibitions, and also through our 2B information leaflet. 2B contains information about what is on in town, introduces interesting local places, gives legal advice and presents recipes for a quick and tasty meal. Through establishing constant cooperation with reliable and reputable service institutions acting in the North East. We also plan to organize a workshop for NEPCO's members, which among others presents a topic: "How to establish your own business in England".
In the future, if there is a need, we would like to organize a consultation centre for Polish people and Sunday school for children.
All details will be presented on our website, in the folder: projects.
We hope that we will also encourage everyone to take an active part in the local community life and activities organized in local areas.
We believe that everything is possible!
NEPCO is a non-profit organisation. Any funds received will be redistributed to help the realization of NEPCO's aims.
