Are you missing something in Newcastle? Are you looking for something new? What would you say about gigs of Polish bands like Myslovitz, T.Love and Dzem??? Do you want to help in the organisation? Maybe gain some new experiences? Meet some new people? Look for sponsors? Entertain yourself? Put your English to work? If you fancy doing even one of these, even if you haven’t done something before, then join us. We’ll find something for everyone.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE?????
2B has been coming out since 2006 and is a free informational brochure aimed at Poles in north-east England. In contains information – amongst other things – about British culture, legal advice, parties in the city, Polish events and activities. Join our editorial team! We’re looking for people who like to write not simply for their own pleasure and want to share their insights, who have photos of interesting places in and around Newcastle and want to show them off, for whom computer typesetting isn’t an obstacle to overcome, who want to take a lead on the 2B website, who have lots of positive energy.
You don’t have to be a professional. We’re open to working with everyone. If something’s bothering you, if you’ve read a passionate book, seen an unusual film, or taken part in an interesting event, then write to us.

Welcome to Newcastle – or what, how, where and when?
Do you remember you first steps taken in an English city? Problems and new questions appearing every moment, questions which now bring a smile to your face – because although they’re easy, someone helped, explained, responded – the woman in the library, a CAB employee, an acquaintance, a friend. Maybe someone who’s not so lucky lives near you, someone for whom even buying a bus ticket is a real challenge.
For you and for everyone who’s taken their first, second and later steps in our region, we want to prepare a Welcome Pack. All essential information in one place, plus addresses of institutions, agencies and places where you can get the replies to the questions which torment you.
If you’ve got an idea of what should be found in such a publication, or maybe you’ve already come across something similar which might serve as a model or complement to our planned brochure, maybe you’d like to help us create the Welcome Pack? We’re waiting for a response!
